The data indicate an adoption of pluralist and secular rhetoric as a strategic political move without a transformation of the organization into a more secular and pluralistic body. The private language and actions of the OCA indicate a desire to remain exclusionary. OCA conflicts with conservative churches, the Republican party and other NCR organizations are evaluated.
