It was hypothesized that the composite measure of religious commitment and each of the five sub-scales of religious commitment would be inversely related to attitudes toward premarital sexual permissiveness. Each of the hypotheses tested was supported at the .05 level of significance. This finding supported the hypothesis that religious commitment is a multidimensional variable. | ||
