| Summary: | Survey research on 761 respondents in the U.S.A. and 320 in Sweden provides comparative findings for several categories of people on topics related to the assertion by many Christians that their fath makes a difference in the way they live out their daily lives. Data are included on the subjects' views on the importance of their religious beliefs, the impact of faith upon decision making, the integration of religion into other domains of life, their purpose in life, and lifestyle. Similar differences between categories of respondents were found in both nations. The evangelicals were consistently different from other Christians. Swedish and American Catholics differed, and persons who professed to be atheists, agnostics, or skeptics were considerably different from Christians. |
