This must carry with it an element of uncertainty, as often only the author, not the title of the work cited, is given. It is also often not clear whether the citation is al-Lamaṭī's own or is itself part of a quote. This can only be clarified by looking up the relevant source in each case to check the text of the quotation, a very time-consuming effort that was impossible for this survey. |
