There are many similarities in the treatment of Muslims across Western Europe. The key focus of international solidarity movements must be to combat the invisibility of Muslims in public spaces and positions of power. Von rechtsextremen Politikern, die in den Mainstream vordringen, bis hin zu langjähriger, systematischer Diskriminierung in den Bereichen Beschäftigung, Wohnen, Bildung, Sport und Dienstleistungen – Muslime gehören zu den am stärksten benachteiligten Bevölkerungsgruppen Europas.
