| Summary: | After an introduction to the pedagogical nature of the Bible, and of Torah (i.e., the Pentateuch) in particular, the article sheds light on the texts that present a true preventive pedagogy, which was laid out for the people of Israel before they entered the Promised Land. The prophets then provided for a permanent reeducation, because past errors and the damages suffered from them can be avoided in the dynamic of a continuous conversion. Wisdom is the mother and teacher of prevention and of life, and in the New Testament Mary embodies its virtues. (English) |
