Description
Summary:Currently, there are many studies on gender, feminism, on the inequalities attributed to women, for example, in relation to the fact that they earn less than men exercising the same function, as well as studies on blacks, race, racism and combat to racism. However, when black women become the object of analysis, there is less research and even less when it comes to black women in Christianity. This text intends to explain some variables related to black women: race, class, gender and religion, from the perspective of authors of anthropology, sociology and theology, aiming to carry out a bibliographic review on race, gender, black feminism and Christianity, so that it is possible to analyze how the identity of black women is constructed and the resignification of their religious practices in the evangelical environment.
