| Zusammenfassung: | In the paper I summarize the results of an investigation into the ecopentecostality of the Evangelical Church Assembly of God. My objective is to describe the ecological assembly speech and the effects of that discourse on the behavior of the faithful. The data collected comes from bibliographic research and participant observation. I conclude that certain demands caused by the current socio-environmental crisis led the Assembly of God to elaborate an ecological discourse that reflects the fundamentalist cosmology of the group, however, this discourse has not yet been able to modify the practical experience of the faithful because, in addition to being recent, it shocks with doctrinal elements and with the religious habitus. |
