Description
Summary:The role of social representation is to give meaning to everything we see and to give. Anchoring and objectification processes are concepts that explain how social representations are elaborated and what they build, transforming the unfamiliar into the familiar. Based on the theory developed by Moscovici (2003) and Jodelet (2001) with regard to social representations, this article aims to seek a better understanding of how the narratives around Floripes Dornelas de Jesus - Santa Lôla are resignified and contribute to for the construction of his holiness in the eyes of his followers.
