Particular attention will be focused on the use of overstatement, hyperbole, metaphor, irony, and the use of questions. Teaching qualities included, in this paper, are areas such as physical, intellectual, emotional, volitional, and general. The intellectual dimension, that are discussed, relate to intelligence, idealism, common sense and understand, and ability to communicate. The physical aspect will focus on the use of an effective voice, good presence, eye contact, and the apparent health of the teacher. It is essential that educators understand and integrate appropriate instructional characteristics and forms in adult learning.
