Summary:Peace requires sincere efforts to be made for the betterment of the world. In this article, the definition of peace and its relevant characteristics will be examined. The factors that undermine peace will be investigated. The significant importance of the dynamics of peace will be the integral part of this study. Global terrorism has been observed as the most hazardous threat humanity faces in the twenty-first century. Therefore, the linkage between Islam and violence in this era will be studies. Furthermore, what Quranic peace emphasizes will be assessed. A descriptive methodology will be used to analyze the phenomenon of peace and the Quran.
