Inter-confessional relations in Ukraine: the state and ways of toleration

In Soviet times, Soviet Union legislation declared freedom of religion, but not freedom of religion. The only one in Ukraine was covered only by the 1991 Law on Freedom of Conscience and religious organizations.

В радянські роки законодавство СРСР декларувало свободу релігії, але не свободу віросповідань. Останню в Україні згарантував лише Закон 1991 року про свободу совісті і релігійні організації.
