| Summary: | In this article we tried to demonstrate the way in which three Sufimasters, who belonged to an Egyptian branch called Naqshbandiyya- Khalidiyya, have narrated the sanctity within three different hagiographic works. We try to show ruptures and continuities from the ideal models proposed by the hagiographic genre and the link that these have with the mentality of those authors and the audience, the political and social structures and the description object itself (the saint), as a historic figure.
