Description
Summary:The paper begins with a survey of the model of Religious Education in Spain, reviewing the four confessional possibilities (Catholic, Evangelical, Muslim and Jewish) and the non-confessional option, which is an alternative to the others. There then follows an analysis of the syllabi of the three non-confessional proposals developed by the governments of Felipe González in 1995, José María Aznar in 2003 and José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero in 2007, and a survey of the complex presence of religious subjects in the Spanish university and its incidence in the previous educational levels. The paper ends with a plea for a non-segregated model of Religious Education in the Spanish schools. (English)
