| Summary: | This work presents an approach about the religious view of marriage and the position of women in this union, in relation to domestic violence (DV). We sought to analyze the women's view of HV perceived in their relationships and how their spiritual leaders handle this situation in their place of worship, as well as how they see their attitude from a religious perspective. For this study, questionnaires were applied to women, possible victims of domestic violence and possible religious, totaling 58 valid questionnaires. To generate the results, statistical analysis of mean and standard deviation of the constructs was used in the SPSS statistical program, which showed results of high degree of dispersion and low means, which made it clear that these respondents did not agree with the elements in question, however it was found several contradictions that suggest some conclusions such as: most women do not conceive of certain types of violence and many women still believe in changing the other's attitudes by virtue of faith in God and guidance from religious leaders. |
