| Summary: | New communication technologies mean that a significant part of human activities are beginning to take on a digital dimension, including religious activities. Instagram is the social medium that changes the approach to virtual communication. The presence of every social group in it creates a challenge for the Catholic Church, for which the main task is evangelization. The analysis of the most popular accounts of Polish priests on Instagram, the only active bishop’s profile, a review of selected profiles of other priests and male religious congregation shows that Instagram is becoming the new pulpit from which the Gospel is proclaimed. |
