| Summary: | When we are intellectually approaching the phenomenon of spirituality of Brunon Schulz (1892-1942) and Witold Gombrowicz (1904-1969) it is worth to remember their distance towards religious orthodoxy. It doesn’t mean however that these writers did ignore or trivialised the nature of the metaphysical angst. Schulz and Gombrowicz do manifest their spiritual activity mainly through literature. This is why the selected texts of both authors may serve as a research material which will make it possible to follow their religious and metaphysical searches. |
