Description
Summary:The question of the community as a true space of human self-determination is an essential component of J.-N. Nancy’s philosophical reflection. Here, we have the abolition of understanding of the essence of the community to the relational community. Nancy introduces us to a new dimension of thinking about community-based concepts such as relationship or bond. So understood community is both an expression of politics understood as a space unresolved, sketchy - specific opening of community. Reflection around the idea of community is understood as the Russian philosophical thought. According to the tradition of recognizing the man in his social habitus Russian thinkers have considered the community through the prism of ideas sobornost or specific collectivity (collectivism). Both in Russian thought and the Nancy’s reflection of postsecular thinking about the community coincides with concepts such as truth or meaning. Such understanding of community is recognized through the prism of sharing and participation in truth, the community in Nancy’s reflection is about communication and sharing of meaning, which reveal only "in" and "through" the community. In both discourses mentioned, the question of the community is therefore the question of man himself, is to determine its place in the world as well as the question about the meaning of this world, its truth.
