| Zusammenfassung: | The article analyzed philosophical views of Staszic in relation to religion. The first part shows the silhouette of a scientific author and his anthropocentric proposals with the proposal of "epistemic theodicy". The second part presents the philosophy of history and the functions of the religion. In the last sections, article analyzed the concept of secularization of Staszic and the place of religion in the Polish society of that time. |
