| Summary: | In this article I present religious morality as an object of humanistic and social research. As for the content I present first the phenomenon of morality - its various definitions, nature and social functioning using for this purpose the available literature. In this part I provide examples of understanding morality by the young and adult Catholicson the basis of various sociological research. In the second part of the article I present the Catholic, secular and atheistic morality - their nature, specifics, differences and practical applications of their ethical standards. This record I also base on the given literature of the subject. Just like in the first part of the article I also present here on the basis of outcomes of many sociological researches the understanding of the nature of these types of morality by the young and adult Poles, as well subjecting to their ethical standards in their own life. Analyses made here point out the difficulties in defining morality, especially in the sociological sense. |
