Description
Summary:Reading Dante's texts through the kaleidoscope of metamorphosis makes it possible to bring out the imaginative forms created to contrast the results of dissipated life and to stimulate a journey of initiation and redemption, which sees Dante crowned "Christian poet". The metamorphosis is inspired by the transfiguration of Jesus on Mount Tabor; unlike Ovid's metamorphoses, which concern subjects who wanted to change their identity, Dante and the souls of believers aim to preserve their identity forever and fix it for eternity, with the final reintegration of resurrected souls and bodies.
