Description
Summary:Thinking together God?s universal love and the ?infernal?, most painful retribution of worst deeds is the challenge of my contribution. It is important not to understand ?universal reconciliation? as the opposite of ?hell?, but as its most violent enabling. This God-fearing hope is not new, but should be remembered anew here. All-embracing love unconditionally precedes everything in the last judgment (cf. Lk?23:34), but it does not cancel the suffering inflicted, but brings it with all severity into the burning light of the viso dei. All experience, whoever they were, accepted into the love of God. Nobody is punished with withdrawal of love. But that is exactly what aggravates the judgment, because as such unconditionally loved ones people see their life with the look of painful, burning love, depending on the suffering they have caused others. Judgment is not only a process between man and God, but at the same time it is rooted in the unimaginable encounter of those who have been inflicted with suffering with those who have inflicted this suffering on them.
