| Summary: | A particularly enlightening perspective, from which to analyze and to understand, at least in part, the dynamics and meanings of process of cultural, social, and anthropological transformation following the Second World Wars, in offered by studying the category of "periphery". Starting from Accatone, Ragazzi di vita, Mamma Roma, the intention here is both to show the importance of periphery as a hermencutical key for reading Pasolini, and to retrace, at least in broad line, the road travelled by Pasolini, the intellectual, in his denunciation of social injustice.Thus it will be possible to highlight the proper shape of average human (l'uomo medio), and to specify the terms of the "genocide", namcly the cultural decadence, caused by capitalism. Un punto de perspectiva privilegiado para analizar y comprender, al menos en parte, las dinámicas y significados del proceso de transformación cultural, social y antropológica que tuvo lugar tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial, es el estudio de la categoría de periferia. La aportación que proponemos pretende, a partir de Sccatonne, Ragazzi di vita y Mamma Roma, mostrar, por un lado, la importancia de la periferia como clave hermenéutica para leer a Pasolini; por otro, trazar, al menos a grandes rasgos, las tramas de la denuncia social realizada por el Pasolini intelectual. Así se podrá de relieve la fisonomía del llamado hombre medio y se precisarán los términos del "genocidio", es decir, de la decadencia cultural provocada por el capitalismo. |
