A very brief and little known abstract from Kafka's work is presenting a poetic synthesis of the various aspects of Chinese culture which fascinated this representative writer of modernity in the Western world. This text permits to understand the spiritual relationship which motivated this fascination. It so happens that this enigmatic text is clearly showing the common factor which gave birth to the two cultures, that is to say violence and its relation to « mimesis » ... |
