À travers la systématisation des explorations ethnographiques et multisites menées dans les cercles de femmes au Mexique, et l’examen des contributions et des recherches en Amérique latine, cet article réfléchit à la manière dont l’essor de ce que l’on appelle aujourd’hui la spiritualité féminine a contribué à la configuration du paysage religieux dans la région. Il analyse l’impact de la spiritualité féminine et son approche pour comprendre les spiritualités contemporaines en Amérique latine, ainsi que certains de ses défis, thèmes et questions clés. Il montre comment les expressions spirituelles des femmes génèrent des questions épistémiques et théoriques-méthodologiques dans le domaine des études religieuses, mais aussi comment elles permettent d’articuler les approches socio-anthropologiques de la spiritualité et de la religion avec d’autres perspectives d’analyse sociale. | ||
| 520 | |a The analysis of women and their ways of experiencing embodied spirituality has revealed novel forms in the configurations of believing, practicing, and belonging to spiritual communities. Through the systematization of ethnographic and multi-sited explorations conducted in women’s circles in Mexico, this article reflects on how the rise of what is now known as feminine spirituality has contributed to shaping forms of belief, practice, and belonging to spiritual communities outside institutional margins. It analyzes the impact of feminine spirituality and its approach to understanding contemporary spiritualities in Latin America, as well as some of its challenges, themes, and key issues. It shows how women’s spiritual expressions generate epistemic and theoretical-methodological questions, but also allow for the articulation of socio-anthropological approaches to spirituality and religion with other perspectives of social analysis. | ||
