Description
Summary:This paper examines the integration of spirituality, practical wisdom, and ethics in business organizations. It proposes a framework based on Regulative Ideals to guide ethical behavior, emphasizing practical wisdom to mediate between spiritual ideals and ethical actions. This framework is further enriched by exploring concepts from te ao Māori and mātauranga Māori to provide a more inclusive and holistic approach. These Indigenous perspectives emphasize generational interconnectedness and collective well-being, promoting more sustainable practices. By integrating these spiritual and ethical frameworks, managers can enhance ethical decision-making, improve organizational culture, and ensure long-term sustainability. The paper concludes with practical implications for management and suggestions for future research on the ambicultural integration of spirituality and ethics in organizations.
