Description
Summary:The article documents a conference of the research project "Non-propositional Concepts of Revelation," which took place in August 2023 in New York. The focus is on a phenomenologically oriented understanding of revelation and the engagement with philosophical and historical questions of ideas. The contributions address, among other things, the manifestation of the divine in the world, the conditions for the appearance of revelation, and the relationship between human fragility and religious experience. Additionally, the connection between phenomenological and theological approaches is examined in order to develop a deeper understanding of divine self-identification.
