Description
Summary:Although Eugen Biser has not developed a systematic theology of reli gions, at least a few traces and references to such a theology can be found in his extensive literature. lt is the task and the object of the following essay to locate and compile these traces and hints. These notes will not only be reconstructed, but also subjected to a critical appraisal. The main topics of Eugen Biser's comments on the monotheistic world religions in particular are the search for their similarities in content, the demand for a culture of understanding and dialogue between them and the demonstration of their shared responsibility for the future of reli gious belief in God as well as the world peace of humanity.
