Description
Summary:This editorial introduces Religion & Development Vol. 3, Issue 3 – Special Issue on “Religion in the Digital Realm”. The collection of five articles aims to give new recognition to the relevance of digital religion as a conceptual and theoretical focus for the field of religion and development (RaD). Although limited in terms of conceptualising and theorising the nexus between digital religion and development, the collective contribution sheds light on a variety of aspects that should be recognised as relevant for RaD’s broad interest in contemporary lived religious practices and phenomena related to contemporary society’s ever-intensifying digital realm.
