Description
Summary:Faith has an effect on mental health. Studies in the psychology of religion show the multivalence of religiosity and spirituality (R/S), which can often be both beneficial and harmful at the same time. Newer psychotherapies therefore pay more attention to R/S in the therapy process. What does this mean for pastoral care and church communities? To what extent are they involved in health promotion? And how can integrative pastoral care make it possible to experience health-promoting beliefs?
