Description
Résumé:This paper examines how cyberspace can support religious instruction and pastoral care for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). It explores how digital platforms such as social media address OFWs’ spiritual needs, promoting positive religious coping. Through semi-structured interviews and analysis of digital spiritual materials uploaded by the Saint John Neumann Migrant Center, the study highlights the expressed needs of respondents. Digital platforms enable the creation of virtual “cyber churches,” fostering spiritual formation, community-building, and emotional support. The study concludes that digital tools offer a transformative way to meet the pastoral needs of OFWs while strengthening Catholic tradition in a digitalized world.
