| Résumé: | Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems achieve consciousness? Can AI help human beings experience Oneness? If so, how? While many writers have been warning about the possible threats to humanity from an advanced Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) that may even possibly achieve consciousness in the near future, this paper will examine a possible more positive future with a three-level framework for how AI may be able to support humanity in experiencing Oneness. Oneness refers to the state of being united and interconnected with everything else. We will examine how future advances in AI could eventually lead to the expansion of global consciousness. The authors shared their personal subjective experiences of Oneness, and fed them into an AI system, and asked it to identify common elements attributable to the experiences of Oneness. We will examine how AI could be helpful to human beings in experiencing Oneness, and its implications for management and education. |
