| Summary: | Résumé Cet article propose une exploration inédite de la vie et de l’œuvre jusque-là trop peu étudiées d’Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Qurašī, un soufi du VIème/XIIème siècle originaire d’Algésiras dont la notoriété transcenda les frontières andalouses puisqu’il fut enterré à Jérusalem après un passage en Égypte où il eut de célèbres disciples. Les chroniqueurs des siècles suivants, d’Ibn Ḫallikān à al-Maqrīzī en passant par al-Ḏahabī, reconnaissent tous en lui une figure d’autorité dans la spiritualité (imām al-ʿārifīn) et relaient assidument ses aphorismes (ḥikam). En mettant en lumière le parcours de cet érudit méconnu, cet article jette un nouvel éclairage sur les trajectoires du soufisme maghrébin de l’époque et sur son influence parmi les milieux savants orientaux. AbstractThis article offers a previously unexplored examination of the life and work of Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Qurašī, a sixth/twelfth-century Sufi from Algeciras whose reputation extended beyond the borders of al-Andalus. After a sojourn in Egypt, where he gathered renowned disciples, he was ultimately buried in Jerusalem. Chroniclers of later centuries - from Ibn Ḫallikan to al- Maqrīzī, including al-Ḏahabī - recognized him as an authoritative figure in spirituality (imam al-ʿārifīn) and consistently transmitted his aphorisms (ḥikam).
