Description
Summary:The following is a printed version of a speech held by the author on Reformation Day in the Market Church, Halle. The author argues on the basis of sociological studies that European society is currently experiencing a change, not a decline, of values. The involvement of the church in moral education should not be equated with traditionalism. On the contrary, the author describes Christian ethics as dynamic and progressive. In this way, the church also has an important role to play in the values discourse of the future.
