Description
Summary:This analysis of Palestinian perspectives is based on a 1984 public opinion survey of 3.306 Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The intensity of national feeling is evident in the findings, in which three-quarters of the respondents prefer establishing a state throughout historic Palestine as the ultimate solution and only 0.9% accept continued Israeli rule with improvements of living conditions and guarantee of democratic freedom.
