| Zusammenfassung: | O levantamento e a edição dos descritivos da documentação patente no fundo da Nunciatura de Lisboa existente no Arquivo Secreto do Vaticano,pretende ser um serviço significativo para o conhecimento da nossa histórica na sua relação com a história de muitos povos e culturas.Trata-se de documentação relativa ao período da expansão portuguesa que promoveu aquela que podemos chamar a primeira globalização do Cristianismo na sua forma confessional católica desde a modernidade. This paper opens the presentation of a major editorial project consacrated to the listing of the Portuguese documentation relative to the Nunciature of Lisbon in the Vatican Archives. The pertinence of this historical documentation for the study of the relations between the political power and the religious power and the process of expansion of Christianity at the global level is presented here together with a historical synopsis of the whole Archive - a set of documents that remains in the collective imagery as one of the most secret in the entire world. |
