It sheds light on the implied poetological presuppositions and, above all, excludes the possibility of an allegorical reading of Celan’s poetry. An analysis of Celan’s verses leads to the isolation of a negative moment in them, constitutive of poetic language, yet irreducible to it. By way of such an element, poetry opens its semantic borders and obtains meaning, nevertheless against a background that necessarily must be aporetic. As a result, Celan’s poetry is not an autonomous language for the real and neither the univocal affirmation of a reality, also for the irrecoverably torn interpreter. | ||
