| Zusammenfassung: | O presente artigo objetiva oferecer algumas reflexões acerca da produção do conhecimento soteriológico na Índia antiga. Para tanto, o texto é dividido em três partes. Num primeiro momento, se oferecem algumas explicações acerca do papel do mestre (guru/acārya), figura central da produção e difusão do conhecimento soteriológico na Índia antiga; posteriormente são analisados alguns contextos culturais daquela tradição através dos textos centrados na produção daquele saber; finalmente, destacam-se os pré-requisitos para se embarcar naquele projeto soteriológico. This paper aims at being an attempt to offer some reflections on the production of the soteriological knowledge in ancient India, being, hence, divided into three parts. First, some explanations on the role of the master (guru/acārya), the centerpoint of that soteriological tradition, are offered; than one moves to look intosome texts to try to understand the cultural contexts wherein the said tradition is produced; finally, some pre-requisites to embark upon the said soteriological project are highlighted. |
