Description
Summary:This paper studies the beatitude "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Mt 5,3). Part of biblical theology and the prophets who see the poor as the lifeless conditions: the orphan and the widow, shows that God has revealed his love in Jesus, who lived radically the option for the poor in his liberating practice. Being poor in spirit is not only material poverty, but is being stripped him and moved by the Spirit of God, while to be poor in spirit is to live for selfish interests. That bias, the main Latin American bishops' conferences, guided the Church, to the prophetic and liberating message of the Gospel and to denounce injustice and oppression on the continent. This is the proposal for the missionary disciple of Jesus Christ.
