Description
Summary:The work was created to reflect on the relationship between corporeity and religion through in-depth bibliographic research, to investigate how closely these two words are united with positive implications for pupils in the developmental age (of 3 - 15 years). Sixteen studies were considered through a systematic review: 8 experimental studies and 8 meta-analyses. The results demonstrate that motor activity, in particular the yoga discipline, with its Sanskrit root Yuj (to unite), lends itself to meditation, contemplation, and introspection through body movement. This path is significant for a transformation of teaching into effective and motivating learning, for inclusive and reflective purposes, favoring the channeling of anxiety and stress, in favor of emotional and reflective well-being. From childhood, people must be directed in their existential path to a positive thought of attention, and care through the body, mind, and spirit, towards themselves, others, and the environment.
